Local author Susan Croce Kelly will talk about her latest book and "labor of love,” Newspaperwoman of the Ozarks: The Life and Times of Lucile Morris Upton, at 1 PM, followed by a book signing until 3 PM. Her newest book delves into the world of an early twentieth-century newspaperwoman and the excitement of being on the front lines of news gathering in the days when the whole world turned to newspapers to find out what was happening.

Croce is a former newspaper reporter, and is best known as the award-winning author of Route 66: The Highway and Its People, a book that helped launch the world's renewed interest in the old highway.
